Our government is investing $1.3 billion through the 2024–25 Capital Priorities Program to support new schools and expansions across Ontario. This includes $12.7 million for a 409-student-space addition at Markville Secondary School and $28.1 million for a new elementary school on Village Parkway with 637 student spaces and 48 child care spaces in Markham–Unionville. It was an honour to be officially sworn in at Queen’s Park as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Education. As I take on this important role, I remain dedicated to supporting the success and well-being of students, educators, and families across our province.

Visited St. Augustine Catholic High School with Minister of Education Paul Calandra. We had the opportunity to meet talented Grade 12 Business Leadership students, as well as students from the STREAM program who are applying design thinking to address real-world challenges.
