It was an honour to congratulate those who took their oath of citizenship on Canada Day. Thank you for choosing Canada as your home, and for adding your unique story to the rich mosaic of our multicultural nation.

 

Congratulations to Audi Uptown Markham on the groundbreaking of their new facility! It was a pleasure to join in celebrating this exciting new chapter. We wish you great success ahead!

I had the privilege to celebrate a meaningful milestone with the seniors in our community. It is amazing to see the many opportunities to connect and support one another. Congratulations to Markham Chinese Senior Organizations Alliance on their founding ceremony! 

 

It was a joy to attend the fun fair hosted by Markham Christian Community Church –  a wonderful way to bring people together and share the love of God. Thank you for serving our community and spreading the good news of salvation.

I had a wonderful time at Markham Pickleball Club’s event, Pickleball for Possibilities Charity, alongside Minister Paul Calandra. What an amazing and creative way to support our community through sports and raising money for the Markham Food Bank.

I had a fantastic time at the Yonex Canada Open 2025, hosted right here in Markham–Unionville! It was an honour to present the gold medal and meet so many world-class badminton athletes. Thank you, Badminton Canada, for organizing this incredible event and bringing our community together through sport.

I had the privilege of visiting W. Ross MacDonald School for the Blind in Brantford with Minister Paul Calandra. We learned about their unique approach to supporting students with exceptionalities and saw firsthand how students are learning essential skills for daily living and future independence.

I had the opportunity to join Minister Stephen Lecce in delivering great news about our province’s first-ever integrated energy plan. This important government initiative will help protect Ontario by ensuring we have the energy needed to support new housing and power the most competitive economy in the G7 for generations to come.
