About Your MPP
Billy Pang immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong in 2000. In 2014, he was elected as a York Region District School Board Trustee. He was first elected in 2018 as the Member of Provincial Parliament for Markham—Unionville, a role he successfully retained in the 2022 and 2025 elections.
Billy was appointed in 2021 as Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Citizenship & Multiculturalism, and, most recently, to the Minister of Education (2024), contributing to the Premier’s team focused on building a stronger Ontario.
Billy is resolute in his mission to represent and advocate for the residents of Markham—Unionville.
